Warren Haynes

Warren Haynes (born April 6, 1960) is an American rock and blues guitarist, vocalist and songwriter. Haynes is best known for his work as longtime guitarist with The Allman Brothers Band and as founding member of the jam band Gov't Mule. Early in his career he was the guitarist for David Allen Coe. He has referred to himself as a "Gibson man", as well as the Les Paul models. Since 1988 he has been doing a Charity event in his hometown of Ashville, NC called The Christmas Jam which helps benefit Habitat For Humanity. In 2002 he was presented with a key to the city and in 2003 the Mayor proclaimed December 18th as Warren Haynes Day.
