Michael Andrew McKagan (born February 5, 1964) is best known for his twelve-year tenure as the bassist of the rock band Guns N' Roses. He was inducted into the Rock and Roll Hall of Fame in 2012. Outside of music, Duff has established himself as a writer. A former high school drop-out, he attended Seattle University's Albers School of Business and Economics and subsequently founded the wealth management firm Meridian Rock. He is married to model and swimsuit designer Susan Holmes. On December 13, 2010 they posed for celebrity photographer Robert Sebree for PETA’s “Ink, Not Mink” anti-fur ads.
